Make Your Affiliate Offer the One Your Subscribers Will Pick Over Everybody Else's

Make Your Affiliate Offer the One Your Subscribers Will Pick Over Everybody Else's

Make Your Affiliate Offer the One Your Subscribers Will Pick Over Everybody Else's

There is a secret that only super-affiliates know.

It is this secret that makes them super-affiliates in the first place. When everybody is promoting the same offer, they get the sale.

No cheat.

They do not need to cheat. Because they have the secret that secures the sale every time. And you are about to learn this secret.

Will you use it?

I hope so.

The Secret to Be the One Whose Offer Is Chosen

When everybody is competing over the same customers, only one person can be the winner.

The secret to being that person can be summarized in three words.

No lazy bonus.

There are times to be lazy and laid back. And the solution is never to work your bum off, 12+ hours per day.

But there are also times where it will cost you the sale to be lazy.

Let me elaborate on this concept.

No Lazy Bonus

A lot of affiliates will just write a short email or blog post or create a short video and throw out their affiliate link.

You can compare this to fishing by throwing out the line with a hook on and hope the fish will bite.

Fish are not that stupid.

People are definitely brighter than fish (well, most at least) and they will not bite either.

You need a bait.

Not just any bait. It must be one that your audience will absolutely love to grab.

A few affiliates will find some cheap PLR and call it a bonus.

This will not work. Cheap PLR looks and feels like cheat PLR. And your audience will not be fooled by a cover that looks like it was made 20 years ago in the childhood of the Internet.

You can make your offer stand out by offering a bonus you put in effort to create.

This Guy Makes $45,000 per Month with his Bonus

Here is a real-world example of a guy who makes $45K on average thanks to a great bonus.

Ted Carr has a Skool group. Skool is a community platform that cost $99 per month right now. And Skool offers an affiliate program.

Ted Carr tells people that if they get a Skool account through his link, then he will set it up for them.

That is a unique bonus that nobody else offered back when he started.

It is a well-thought-out bonus with immense value. It takes away all the fear from the buyer. There is no worrying about setting up their community.

They can just click the link, buy and relax.

Everything is taken care of for them and Ted Carr gets to pocket $45,000 for his efforts.

Think about this.

Back when blogging was new, super-affiliate and blogger John Chow made lots of money by sending customers to web hosts. If they bought through his link, he promised to set up a blog for them.

By finding the best bonus for them, he made lots of money and helped his followers.

What Kind of Effort Should You Use

First you need to take a close look at the product you want to promote.

Be really critical here. Are there flaws in it? Can you think of ways to improve the product?

Only brainstorm at this point.

Write down everything that could make this product even better. Do not consider if it would be possible for you to create the bonus or not. Just write everything down.

Let Us Take an Example

Let us assume that you are looking at a course that teaches writers how to finish a romance novel in two weeks.

The course is good. No obvious flaws, so there is nothing you can improve here. What then?

Think ahead.

What will the writer need after she has written the novel?

She would need proofreading, a cover, keywords for the publishing, a good description, traffic to her book, reviews...

There are so many ways already now for you to improve the original offer.

Which of them should you pick? The one that you can create.

If you can teach the writers how to make a cover, do that in your bonus. If you can teach them how to write descriptions, do that. And if you can program an application that will help authors find the right keywords, then do that and use it as a bonus.

Once you have chosen your bonus, it is time to create and not be lazy.

You must put in all the necessary effort to make this bonus so valuable that you could sell it.

But do not sell it.

Make it only available as a unique bonus if people buy the main product through your link.

Some writers will already know how to write a romance. But they will be so eager to get your bonus that they will buy the affiliate product.

Others will be on the fence, and your bonus convinces them that it would be a great idea to buy.

Others again would be lingering between buying from a competitor or you and will pick your offer because of the bonus.

More Real-World Examples of Powerful Bonuses

Your bonuses can be relevant both for physical and digital products.

If you are promoting a physical book, you could create a unique bookmark from a print-on-demand service and send that to buyers.

What if you were promoting a woodworking guide? You could offer bonus plans with instructions for a project that is not included in the original guide.

If you promote a weight loss program, you can offer a meal plan or a shopping list or even a recipe book as a bonus companion.

In general, if you can match the perceived value of your bonus to the product you promote, or make it even higher, then you are much more likely to score the sale.

Now It Is Your Secret

By knowing this secret, you can become a super-affiliate.

This super-bonus is your strongest weapon. This is how you make your affiliate offer the one your subscribers will pick over everybody else's weaker offers.

Many affiliates are lazy.

You have a powerful advantage by not being lazy here.
